Best neighborhoods in Miami for Russian families?
We're relocating to Miami from NYC this summer with two kids (ages 5 and 8). Looking for a family-friendly area with good schools and ideally some Russian-speaking community nearby. Budget is around $3,000/month for a 2BR. Sunny Isles? Aventura? Hallandale? Any recommendations?

Sunny Isles is great for Russian families — huge Russian-speaking community, good restaurants, and the beach is right there. Schools are decent. Your budget might be tight for a 2BR right on the water but you can find something a few blocks inland.
We moved to Aventura 2 years ago and love it. Aventura Charter is an excellent school. There's a big Russian community here and in neighboring Hallandale. The mall is great for kids too.
Consider Hallandale Beach — more affordable than Sunny Isles but still close to everything. Lots of Russian-speaking families. The only downside is the commute if you work in downtown Miami.
Whatever you do, visit before you sign a lease. Miami neighborhoods can vary block by block. Also, factor in hurricane season — make sure you have good insurance.
